Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater: Big Boss

In 1964, Big Boss (who was still known by his real name, Jack, at the time), took part in the Virtuous Mission as a member of the CIA's FOX unit. His was to rescue defecting Soviet scientist, Nikolai Stephanovich Sokolov, but unfortunately failed due to the defection of The Boss. As a result, he was imprisoned by the U.S. Government while recuperating in intensive care.

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots: Raiden

Traumatized by his break-up with Rosemary and the apparent miscarriage of his child, Raiden has become a cold-blooded, emotionless fighter. He has also been turned into a cyborg thanks to the The Patriot's machinations. He does not appear to care for Rose's life, nor his own for that matter, but assists Snake in various missions, often saving Snake's life.

Beautiful cosplay from Sweden's Uppcon 2009! Although Raiden does appear to be far more muscular in the game, the details the cosplayer put into this costume is astonishing! Thanks to Vea for the huge contribution of cosplays from Sweden!
